Acrisure UK MGA Limited Modern Slavery Act Statement

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

Organisational structure and business

We are an FCA regulated insurance intermediary providing a broad range of services to the insurance industry including coverholders and MGAs.

Our policy on slavery and human trafficking

We operate in an environment that includes third party agents and outsourcing arrangements such as IT vendors, auditing and other professional services.

We strive to act ethically and with integrity in all of our business relationships and to implement workplace policies and procedures that demonstrate our commitment to ensuring there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our use of third parties, our outsourcing arrangements or in any part of our business.

Supplier adherence to our values

We are committed to ensuring that our suppliers agree to observe the highest professional standards when it comes to anti-slavery and human trafficking compliance. Our Board has responsibility for implementation of our systems and controls.

Training

This statement has been issued to all staff to ensure that they are aware of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking. Appropriate training will be provided as necessary.

Application

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the 2020 financial year and for future years until such time as it is modified, renewed or removed from our website.
